The Democratic Latino Organization of Virginia (DLOV) is excited to invite Democratic Party candidates to participate in our 2025 endorsement process. DLOV is dedicated to supporting candidates who champion Democratic values and demonstrate a strong commitment to advocating for the interests of Latino communities throughout Virginia, especially immigrants and working families.
Our endorsement process is designed to identify and support candidates who will be effective advocates for our communities. We are seeking candidates who understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing Latinos in Virginia and are committed to working towards creating a more just and equitable society for all.
Candidate Questionnaire
The first step in the DLOV endorsement process is completing the Candidate Questionnaire. This questionnaire is designed to provide DLOV with a comprehensive understanding of your background, values, policy positions, and commitment to the Latino community. Completion of the Candidate Questionnaire is mandatory for all state and local candidates seeking DLOV's endorsement on the November 4, 2025, ballot.
We are accepting candidate questionnaires on a rolling basis. To be considered for an early September 2025 endorsement announcement, candidates must submit their completed questionnaires by August 22, 2025. Submissions received after this date will still be considered for endorsement, but will be announced at a later time.
The Candidate Questionnaire covers a range of topics, including:
Core Questions: Motivation for running, core Democratic values, understanding of the Latino community's needs, plans for engaging with the Latino community, and strategies for opposing MAGA Republicans
Office-Specific Questions: Tailored questions relevant to the specific office you are seeking

Google Doc: Download the document, complete it, and send it to dlovacct@gmail.com
Video/Audio: Complete and submit the short online form and include a link to your video or audio response
